Oakland County Resident Resources

Oakland County connects with it's residents, and encourages a communal mindset to sustaining our state's natural beauty and civil order. All parks are secure and monitored, while only the most popular destinations receive surveillance to ensure visitor safety.

Here is a county-wide registry of the OKC parks system encompassing all but the smallest of publicly designated recreational areas.

  1. Thank you for the list of resources. We've enjoyed the Red Oaks Dog Park for years (I just try to get there early when it's not so busy). We've been looking for bike trails (paved trails, not mountain bike trails) and I didn't think to try out county parks first. Like so much else in our area, most people don't take advantage of everything that's available in our backyard. Thanks for the information!
